We have camped and traveled a lot in the past years. When the kids were young we would go camping a much as possible.
First it was in a tent, then as the kids got older it was two tents, then three (brother and sister decided they needed their own tent). Boy did we have fun, Large bon fires built by the kids, great riding on the 3 wheelers and 4 wheelers. A family trip to Disneyland. But the best trips were the camping trips.
Then is was move up, truck and camper, (hips and knees could no longer take the cold, hard ground, even when it was 50 degrees at night). OLD AGE! No we were not old, just wanted a comfy bed to sleep in.
When the kids left home and DSH was working out of town we bought our first motorhome. Boy did we have great time in it. A 28 day trip to Florida. That is when we fell in love with the motorhomes.
A few years later we bought our second motorhome, a 1997 Georgie Boy Pursuit. Took it out every weekend. Made a trip up the California coast. Made it to Settle, Washington and to turn back for home. Back to WORK. But we were able to make several small (weekend trips).
Then a small change in the way we travel.........
