Well today is a get some things done day. Need to pick up a package at the post office today. Get ther and no package. Went for a short ride and forgot the camera. On the way back we came upon an accident. No one was hurt, thank goodness, but I could not believe what this kid had done. There are lots of washes out here and plenty of dirt roads to stay on. This kid decided he needed to go left (for what reason I do not know) and ended up high centered going into the wash. One gentleman had already stopped to help them out, but broke the tow rope he had. Now we are in the razor and know we cannot pull this car out. It weights a lot more than we do. So now will the first guy's van be able to pull him? ....Just then a jeep drives by, stops, and using our tow rope and pulls him out.
There are a lot of young kids (early 20's) here and they all or most of them walk everywhere, have a dog or two and deadlocks. I don't think they get many bathes as there is not much water around here. DH has put a name to these kids, The Grungies. It is funny to listen to him as he is sitting outside or looking out the window and tell me there are some more Grungies arriving.
It has been fun to watch this camping area grow each day. I think you could say at least 20 or so new campers come in each day. It is a great place to people watch.

We went for a short ride today and I remembered the camera. Yesterday when we went for a ride we found some cactus I have never seen before so we had to go back so I could get pictures. I just wish I new the name of these..
We had gone for a walk early and found some of the best markers for those coming in to find there group. Just had to post these.

Today is a quite day. Read a little and trying to learning how to relax. This is hard for me as I am usually on the go all of the time.
Meet some of our new neighbors today. They are from Bullhead City. Nice people. They have invited us to go ride with them tomorrow. Which will be fun. We have not ridden too much as we do not know the area and really do not want to learn it on our own. So we are looking forward to tomorrow.

Up early and are ready to ride. Wow what a beautiful sight seeing the full moon go down.
The group we will ride with today is part of the Mohave Desert ATV Riders Association. We have met Ellis and Sam and Rod (last night, they are the ones who invited us to ride with them). Today we met Rod and Kathy, Sue, Mike and Liz, and two other people whose name I did not catch. They are going to head to Ehrenberg for burgers and beer.

I have ridden in the desert before but this landscape is new to me.
We even had some fun and interesting obstacles. We were told to stay in the left tunnel as the rest have a big drop off.
We arrive at the River Run Pizza, Grill and Sports bar. The place is small but has a fun atmosphere.

Now to head back. We will take a different way back. Kathy and Sue each have their own razors so the trail leader Rod is taking it a little easy on them. The trail is fun. One area was a wash bed with lots and I mean lots of rocks, Not gravel but large ROCKS. Technical driving skills needed here. Kathy and Sue did an amazing job. Just wish I could of gotten pictures but the ride was too bumpy.
