Took the razor and went to the London Bridge and drove around Lake Havasu. It was bit a chilly but fun. We have been to the London Bridge berfore this trip. It always amazes me. To think some guy had too much money and bought this bridge. And then had enought left over to have it moved and re-eretced. Thank you for your great donation.
We have met serveral people at the RV park and they all want to know why we don;t stay a little while longer. Wth this being our first snowbird trip, we want to get a little taste of everything. If sonethimg really grabs us then we can stay longer or come back.
We will head out in the morning to Quartzie. It is about 50 miles south of Lake Havasu.

We left Lake Havaus about 11 am and arrived in Quartzite just before one. First stop wwas to top of the propane. It has been cold at night so the furnace has been running more than we thought iit would, Next gas up. Then a stop at the Roadrunner Market for a few supplies. Then we are off to find a place to park. Headed down the frontage road next to Hwy 10, I think is Riggle Rd, for about 2 miles and found the 14 day free boondocking area. This is where we will stay for now. Wow lots of area to park in and you can have neighbors or you can be by yourself. We found the perfect spot. A small group of trees for afternoon (early afternoon ) shade, and fairly level. Now to just kick back and enjoy. Tomorrow will be a trip to town.

It is a bit chilly this morning. The desert does get cold at night. But nothing like we left at home. Quartziteis an intresting place. We went to Tyson Wells Gem show this morning. It is not only a gem show but also a sell-a-rama. You can find so many things there. We just made a quick walk through as DH wanted to watch the football games. But we will be back and the next trip we will take our time. At least the Broncos won.
