Moab....moving down the road Oct 11, 2013

Oct 11, 2013

Time to move from Sand Flats.  We want to do some riding on the north end of Moab.  So pack up and head out.  We are going to a campsite about 10 miles north of Moab. It is a dry camp site and privately owned. It will cost us $5.00 a night and located at the trail head to Gemini Bridge. Not a bad spot.

Now that we have moved and are set up it is time to ride. So we head out to Gemini Bridges and Bull Canyon.

The ride is amazing. The weather is great and scenry.....is OMG beautiful.  You see pictures of all of the famous rock formations in this area, but what is outside of those areas is totally amazing.

We arrive at the Gemini Brigdes area.

Now for a walk to the Brigdes.  It is an easy walk and the area is just amazing.

We get to the bridges and my camera is going crazy. Cannot get it to quit taking pictures. These pictures are from the top of the bridges.

While I am standing on the edge to get the pictures, someone one from the other side is telling me, being funny, that I proable do not want to be standing where I am standing.  Going to the other side I see why they are saying this.

But I am not worried....It has been like this for years.  I don't think it will fall in yet.

After several pictures and just soaking in the beauty and amazment of this area we are off to Bull Canyon. This is where you can see the Bridges from the bottom looking up.

It is a short walk from the trail to the area where you can see the bridges from the bottom up. I am just in awe walking there.

What an amazing day. Could not have asked for a better day for a great ride with good friends. Thanks Russ and Jodee for showing us this area today.
